Could it be that after all these years we’re finally going to see the worlds first flying car? That’s been a dream of mine for many years since, well, since the Jetsons first aired on network television back in the sixties! It was always one of the central themes in artists visions of the future (along with robots doing all our work for us!).
Well, that dream may finally come to fruition as Paul S. Moller, engineer and past professor at the University of California, has decided to finally pursue this endeavor. The Moller Volantor is being designed as a vertical take-off and landing vehicle and, when produced for consumer purchase, it is estimated to sell in the $90,000 plus dollar range. Meet George Jetson!
Dr. Paul Moller have developed a new production. It could hover in the air just like UFO. Just image, it could take you 10 feet high over terrain at 50 MPH, it’s pretty cool. And you will not worry about traffic jam.
